It has been said that Luke`s account of the journey that Paul took to Rome is one of the best examples of ancient maritime techniques that is in existence today. (refer to http://www.parsagard.com/shipwreck.htm for a good article on the subject)

Paul and Luke went through many difficulties on that trip.

It a testimony to their courage and determination to preach the gospel no matter the consequences to life or limb.

I have always found the story of “Paul`s Journey to Rome” very interesting. With all the twists and turns it reads like a modern day novel. I have tried to capture the essence of the event with a musical background that gives you the feeling of being at Sea.

I call this piece a “Story-song”. Many of my songs are written in this fashion; taking the listener through the story-line of a particular individual in the scriptures.
