Yahovah Shammah transliterated mans “Yahovah's presence is there in Jerusalem”. There are many names in the Old Testament that describe the varied nature of God. (See Bullinger`s list on names) In this song, “ Yahovah Shammah” ties in most appropriately with the lyrics. I used the “Y”in Yahovah instead of the “J” because the Hebrew language does not contain a “J”. The time period is during Christ`s reign on the earth after his return; the Nations coming up to Jerusalem to worship the King. The Millennial temple is constructed according to the measurements found in Ezekiel chapter forty (see Bullinger`s Millennial Temple) and the desert areas of the land give rise to all kinds of beautiful vegetation reminiscent of the garden of Eden.
